The Hidden Garden

The Hidden Garden is an intermediary world, a mysterious place where reality intertwines with fantasy.

An intriguing being evolves within a square of synthetic grass, in a choreography inspired by gothic short

stories, fantasy literature and our society’s normalised customs. 

Blurring the lines between dance, physical theatre and visual art, this powerful and humour-filled 

solo, performed in Edinburgh by award-winning artist Jill Crovisier herself, explores human preoccupation with

utility, power, control, and perfection.
